Program & Course Information
The Automotive Technology program is designed to provide young men and women the knowledge and critical thinking skills required to meet the growing demands of the automotive industry.
The Automotive Technology Department is NATEF Master Certified through the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation. Graduates of the department are consistently recruited by local automotive businesses and hold a variety of positions in the automotive industry.

HIGHLIGHTS
At Assabet, the Automotive Technology Shop offers students real-world training to develop the skills needed for today’s automotive industry. Students gain hands-on experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing modern vehicles using up-to-date diagnostic tools and equipment.
With a strong focus on safety, precision, and problem-solving, the program equips students with the technical knowledge and professional skills needed for success in automotive service or further education.
Live Customer Work
All services are at the shop instructors' discretion, and priority is given to projects that provide the most educational value for the students. We take minor to moderate automotive work on cars less than 10 years old. No Insurance work is accepted. Services are only available to in-district residents.
