Expanding For All Learners

Expanding For All Learners

Assabet Valley is proud to offer a rich, varied and rigorous academic curriculum. We recognize that each student is a unique individual with specific strengths, needs and learning styles. We pride ourselves in providing challenging and supportive opportunities for all students to maximize their readiness for life after high school.

All of our core courses are aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and prepare students for success on the Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System (MCAS) as well as give them a solid platform for success in post-secondary learning. We are pro-actively working to ensure that all of our courses are also aligned with the newly adopted Massachusetts Common Core Standards.

Essential to all education is the development of a safe, positive, and caring atmosphere, which allows professional staff, students, and all parties involved to progress. The individual students, whose talents, interests, and needs are recognized as unique, must be the focus in the development of curriculum which remains flexible and encourages each person to develop to the level of his/her capacity.
Aware of its growing responsibilities, the educational staff of Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School accepts with confidence the task of preparing our students realistically for the world of work and for a productive life.
